Social Media and the Internet

We run our social media and internet sessions every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning.

Our clients are taught the safe and sensible way to use social media, Facebook, Youtube, email and the many other forms of information technology used by everyone to communicate.

We also cover how to utilise the internet to gain knowledge and information on how to search for jobs, how to create CV’s, shape covering letters and how to apply for jobs online.

Another component focuses on how to seek for help online, how to use your online accounts including IRD, My MSD, Studylink and how to use snapper and online timetables for travel.

One session a week is focused on practical tasks which need to be completed for those clients who are participating in the Matrix programme including applying for an 18+ card, obtaining a health passport, learning the roadcode and completing an online CV.
