Our programmes

At Manaaki Ability Trust we live and breathe our mission statement: We aim to develop in our clients a lasting enthusiasm for personal achievement and the confidence and ability to live and work to their fullest potential.

We have a wide range of programmes available and some fantastic people on board to facilitate these. Please take a look below.

Community Participation

Our staff assist with facilitation and support of all clients to participate and develop their skills for ordinary daily living.

Transition from School

This journey is one in which they make many more decisions and have to adjust to a diverse and dissimilar life outside of the school gate.

Young Guns

Specifically aimed at our client base of 16-25 year olds. It incorporates all of our community participation principles, together with some youth-focused esteem and skill-based programmes.

Social Media

People are taught the safe and sensible way to use social media, Facebook, tweets, email and the many other forms of information technology used by everyone to communicate.

New Initiatives

Our New Initiatives programme is all about pushing the envelope and looking outside the square for partnerships, collaborations and joint ventures.
